Hon. Fohe
Hon. Fohe is a
long-serving member of Parliament and is serving his 3rd consecutive term in
the House. Over the years, Hon. Fohe has been a member of the Standing
Committee on Legislation, the Standing Committee on Finance that reviews the
"Budget" every year and a host of other select committees.

Hon. 'Ahome'e
Hon. 'Ahome'e
worked in the palace office for 8 years before deciding to run in the 2005
By-election. This move was motivated by his desire to positively help
the people of Tonga. Hon. 'Ahome'e is a member of the Standing
Committee on Legislation and in 2005 was elected, together with Hon. Tangipa,
by the Speaker of the House to deliver the House's reply to His Majesty's
Address in the Opening of Parliament. Hon. 'Ahome'e is the nephew of
Her Majesty Queen Halaevalu Mata'aho and his noble title was bestowed upon
him when he turned 18 years of age.

HRH Prince Tu'ipelehake
HRH Prince
Tu'ipelehake entered the House in 1999 as the No.1 Nobles' Representative
for Ha'apai. During that time he was the Chairman of the Committee of
the Whole as well as being a member of the Legislation Committee.
He supported calls for
political reform and was an advocate in defending freedom of speech in
Tonga. After the 2005 Nobles General Election, in which
he narrowly lost his seat, he was re-elected in the July at the Nobles'
by-elections as the Nobles' No.3 Representative for Tongatapu, following the
sudden death of the Hon. Vaha'i. HRH Prince Tu'ipelehake holds
tofi'a or noble estates in both Ha'apai and Tonga, which makes him
eligible to be a candidate in both electorates. He was educated in
both New Zealand and England.

No.2 Representative
Hon. Tu'ilakepa
Hon. Tu'ilakepa has worked in the Ministry
of Lands & Survey for many years before entering parliament in 2005.
Hon. Tu'ilakepa is also a member of the Standing Committee on Legislation.
Like Hon. 'Ahome'e he had the privilege in 2005 of forwarding the House's
reply to His Majesty's address.

Ha'apai
No.1 Representative
Hon. Tu'iha'atehio
Hon. Tu'iha'atehio is one of the youngest
members in the House. His noble title was bestowed upon him in 2004
after the death of his father, who had previously held the title. Hon.
Tu'iha'atehio grew up and was educated in Hawai'i and Alaska, United States.
He is also a keen sportsman and is the Chairman of the Tongan Body-Building
Association.

Ha'apai

Hon. Tu'iha'angana
Hon. Tu'iha'angana is one of the longest serving
nobles in the House and is currently serving his 5th term in parliament.
During his tenure, he has acted both as the Acting Speaker of the House and
the Acting Chairman of the House. In 2005, was appointed by the House
to act as the Chairman of the Committee of the Whole.

Hon. Lasike
Hon. Lasike was elected in the By-election of
2005 to replace Hon. Nuku who was appointed Minister of Police in March.
Hon. Lasike is the owner of the Sandy Beach Motel located on Taufa'ahau Road
in Nuku'alofa.

Hon. Tangipa
Hon. Tangipa has lived and worked in
Australia for many years before finally deciding to make the move back to
Tonga. Elected in 2005 after a coin was toss to decide between himself
and Hon. Fotofili, who both had the same number of votes.
