THE Legislative Assembly resumes normal sitting in Nuku’alofa today.
Members of the House are expected to hear a 50 paged written reply from the People’s Representative’s in respond to the Prime Minister’s reply on the vote of no confidence motion.
Parliament was adjourned two weeks ago to allow an official tour of government delegation to Israel and for the PR’s to submit a written reply of their reply to the House.
Following the no confidence motion against the Prime Minister the House has been deliberating on that matter.
At the same time 11 bills have been approved by the House after its first and second reading. All are being referred for further scrutiny at the Whole House Committee.
That includes amendments to the Constitution of Tonga (Amendment) Act 2010, Excise Tax (Amendment) Order 2012, Electoral Boundaries Commission Act 2012 and other bills.
