Parliament to debate on National Budget 2012-2013

PARLIAMENT resumes normal sitting today.

Agendas of the House include a report from Noble representative Lord Tu'ilakepa and People Repesentative Sione Taione to Parliament on the outcome of their audience with his Majesty King Tupou VI.

The MPs yesterday presented to his Majesty a report of the House in respond to his address from the throne when he officially opened Parliament last week.

Other agendas that parliamentarians will discuss in the House include the Budget Statement 2012/2013 and Tonga’s Development Plan 2011-2014 as well as the Financial Appropriation Bill 2012/2013.
