THE People and Noble’s Representative’s office will get a long awaited facelift to commence on Monday, July 30th, 2012.

The renovation project is worth TOP$130,000.

This is to renovate the existing People’s Representatives office with two additional offices and a conference room for the Noble Representatives to use.

A signing ceremony was held this morning at the Parliament’s conference room with the Kalu Contractor of Ha’ateiho for the renovation and building of additional offices for the members of Parliament.

To date, there are no office available for the Noble Representative.

Clerk of the Legislative Assembly, Sione Tekiteki says the project is to provide new offices for the Noble representatives as well as renovating the existing office of the People’s Representatives making it easier for them to carry out their legislative work.

Tekiteki says this has been up in the pipeline for so long.

The new additional and renovation project of the Legislative Assembly is expected to run for three months starting Monday.
